Tyra Hill

Tyra Hill is a health policy professional with several years of experience in state and federal health policy, health policy research, and healthcare consulting. With a strong background in Medicaid, she excels in policy analysis, policy research, technical assistance, and program evaluation. Driven by a passion for ensuring access to care for the nation’s most vulnerable populations, she focuses on health system transformation through policy and regulatory action.

Tyra currently serves as Policy Analyst at Healthsperien where she provides policy and strategic support to a variety of clients and partnership organizations. Prior to joining Healthsperien, Tyra served as a Medicaid Policy Advisory Services Analyst at Mathematica. At Mathematica, Tyra was primarily responsible for conducting policy research and providing technical assistance to federal and state health agencies. Before joining Mathematica, Tyra was a Health Policy Analyst with the Maryland Department of Health’s Maryland Medicaid Administration. At the Maryland Department of Health, Tyra was responsible for drafting State Plan Amendments and regulations, tracking legislative and regulatory developments, and supporting various policy implementation initiatives.

Tyra holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in practice and policy from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Biology specialization from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
