His leadership will further strengthen Healthsperien’s mission to drive transformative policy solutions that improve mental health care access and addiction treatment.
Prior to joining Healthsperien, Al founded and led Guide Consulting Services for over 20 years, where he worked closely with major Congressional committees, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). His efforts led to the establishment and funding of several landmark initiatives, including:
✅ Mental Health First Aid
✅ Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs)
✅ 988 National Suicide Prevention Coordinating Office
Al’s work has helped providers, technology firms, and public health organizations navigate complex policy landscapes and achieve meaningful outcomes in mental health, addiction care, and behavioral health policy.
“I’m honored to join Healthsperien as a Partner to continue advocating for bold, innovative policies that transform mental health and addiction care,” said Al Guida. “Partnering with Former Rep. Patrick J. Kennedy presents an incredible opportunity to drive forward solutions that make care more accessible, equitable, and effective for communities nationwide.”
At Healthsperien, Al will play a key role in advancing policy solutions that expand access to mental health and addiction services, ensuring that evidence-based care reaches those who need it most.
We are proud to have Al on board and look forward to the impact his leadership will bring.
