Victoria Russo

Victoria Russo is a health policy and public health professional with over 5 years of experience in state and federal government, non-profits, and healthcare consulting. Specializing in aligning the interests of public and private healthcare entities, she operates at the intersection of health care policy, implementation, and advocacy. Driven by a passion for transforming healthcare, she focuses on equity and prevention through sound policy and regulatory action. 

Currently, Victoria serves as Associate Policy Director at Healthsperien where she oversees a broad portfolio covering Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, drug pricing, pharmaceutical policy, and more. She also advises the Public Sector Healthcare Roundtable and the National Institute for Public Employee Health Care Policy. In this role, she has been instrumental in advocating for nuanced understanding of health care issues and their policy implications for her clients.   

Prior to this, Victoria held positions at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, as well as the New York State Department of Health, where she worked on health care programs and issues impacting Americans nationwide and New Yorkers across the state, respectively. She also worked as a care coordinator at the Whitney M. Young Jr. Health Center, a federally qualified health center, where she developed a strong commitment to improving collaboration across federal, state, and local entities to ensure meaningful program delivery for those served. 

Victoria is dedicated to ensuring vulnerable populations have access to comprehensive, quality care. She believes in the value of preventive care to reduce costs and improve outcomes and prioritizes collaboration across sectors within the healthcare system. 

Victoria holds a Master of Public Health from Columbia University, specializing in health policy & management and comparative effectiveness & outcomes research. She also holds a Bachelor of Science from the University at Albany, SUNY.
