On June 15, 2021 Healthsperien hosted a special event on the future of long-term services and supports (LTSS) as part of its ongoing thought leadership and HealthsperienX activities that focus on innovation in the health system and address timely issues in health care policy. Given the policy interest in providing additional resources to state Medicaid home- and community-based services (HCBS) programs—most recently through the Biden Administration’s proposed $400 billion program and other Congressional bills—we assembled experts to describe some of the broader issues facing these programs and their sustainability for the future.
