Biography

Brian has over 25 years of leadership experience in healthcare organizations, ranging from startups to publicly traded companies. A seasoned C-suite executive, board member, and advisor, Brian is passionate about transforming the healthcare system to improve access, delivery, and patient outcomes. Known as a disruptor and innovator, he has a proven track record of leading and scaling healthcare technology companies. As an advisor to national VC/PE funds, Brian evaluates investment opportunities and supports portfolio companies in areas such as go-to-market strategies, product design, workflows, and performance measurement.

Previously, Brian created and led Tabula Rasa HealthCare’s Office of Strategic Growth, driving its expansion into the payer market. Within six months, he secured the company’s first payer pilot and commercial contract, contributing to Tabula Rasa’s IPO in 2016 (NASDAQ: TRHC). He designed, tested, and deployed innovative products, services, and financial models, including value-based contracting solutions and chronic disease programs. Brian also helped establish new market foundations in pharma/life sciences, life insurance, and international sectors.

Currently, Brian serves as Chair of the Board of Advisors for StationMD, a telehealth company for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and is on the Board of Advisors for Pearl Health, a leader in value-based care for primary care practices. He is a Board Member of CP Unlimited, a provider of services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, supporting thousands through its residential and day programs. Earlier in his career, Brian led the startup and exit of an oncology-focused technology company and held strategic roles with Blue Cross organizations. He also served as Chief Legislative Counsel to New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman.

Recognized as an expert in healthcare strategy, growth, and policy, Brian has been elected as a Senior Fellow by the Jefferson School of Population Health. He served as Chair of the New Jersey Association of Health Plans and has been appointed to various federal and state healthcare reform commissions. Brian holds a JD from Rutgers University School of Law and a BA in Economics from Vassar College. He resides in South Carolina with his wife, Donna, and their two rescue dogs, Lucca and Finley.
